Refund policy

At Home Plan DIY, we want every purchase to be a confident one. Because our products are digital files delivered instantly, our return policy works a little differently than a typical store. Here is exactly how it works.

1. Digital products are non-returnable

All of our products are digital house plan files delivered by download or email. Once a file has been downloaded or delivered, it cannot be returned, and the purchase is not eligible for a refund.

2. All sales are final

Because digital files cannot be given back, all sales are final. Before you order, please review the plan details carefully, including square footage, dimensions, foundation type, and the list of included drawings. Every product page lists exactly what comes in the set, and if anything is unclear, we are happy to answer questions before you buy at plan@homeplandiy.com.

3. Accidental purchases

If you placed an order by mistake and have not downloaded the files, contact us right away at plan@homeplandiy.com. We review these requests case by case and will do our best to help.

4. Duplicate orders

If you were charged twice or accidentally purchased the same plan more than once, we will gladly refund the duplicate. Email us your order numbers and we will take care of it promptly.

5. Problems with your files

If your download link is not working, a file will not open, or you received the wrong plan, we will make it right. Email plan@homeplandiy.com with:

• Your order number
• A short description of the issue

We respond quickly and will keep working with you until you have the correct, working files.

6. Modified and custom plans

Plan modifications and custom house plans are made to order based on your specifications, so they are also non-refundable. You review and approve the design through unlimited revisions before it is finalized, which means nothing is locked in until you are satisfied with the layout.
