At Home Plan DIY, we want every purchase to be a confident one. Most of what we sell is a digital file delivered instantly, so our return policy works a little differently than a typical store. Our one physical product, the 5 Printed Sets add-on, follows its own section below. Here is exactly how it works.

1. Digital products are non-returnable

Plan files, build licenses, and digital add-ons are delivered by download or email. Once a file has been downloaded or delivered, it cannot be returned, and that portion of the purchase is not eligible for a refund.

2. All digital sales are final

Because digital files cannot be given back, all digital sales are final. Before you order, please review the plan details carefully, including square footage, dimensions, foundation type, and the list of included drawings. Every product page lists exactly what comes in the set, and if anything is unclear, we are happy to answer questions before you buy at plan@homeplandiy.com.

3. 5 Printed Sets add-on (physical product)

The 5 Printed Sets add-on is a physical item, printed to order and shipped to you, so a few different rules apply:

• Because each set is printed specifically for your order, printed sets cannot be returned once produced, and this portion of your order is non-refundable once printing has started.
• If your shipment arrives damaged, incomplete, or with a printing defect, email us photos and your order number and we will reprint and reship the affected sets at no charge.
• If a package is lost in transit, contact us with your order number and we will work with the carrier and arrange a reprint if it cannot be located.
• If you need to correct a shipping address, contact us before your sets are marked as printed; once printing or shipping has started we may not be able to redirect the package.

4. Accidental purchases

If you placed an order by mistake and have not downloaded the files or had printed sets go into production, contact us right away at plan@homeplandiy.com. We review these requests case by case and will do our best to help.

5. Duplicate orders

If you were charged twice or accidentally purchased the same plan or add-on more than once, we will gladly refund the duplicate. Email us your order numbers and we will take care of it promptly.

6. Problems with your files

If your download link is not working, a file will not open, or you received the wrong plan, we will make it right. Email plan@homeplandiy.com with:

• Your order number
• A short description of the issue

We respond quickly and will keep working with you until you have the correct, working files.

7. Modified and custom plans

Plan modifications and custom house plans are made to order based on your specifications, so they are also non-refundable. Each project includes up to five (5) rounds of revisions before the design is finalized. A revision round is one set of change requests sent to us together, and we send back an updated draft for each round. Additional rounds beyond five are available for an added fee.

Once you approve the final design, or the final files are delivered, the project is complete and no further changes are included. Any change requested after final approval or delivery is treated as a new request and may require a new quote and payment.
